My S5 had the same experience, changed all the coils to NGKs and changed the spark plugs Plugged diagnostics in and came up with multiple misfire that jumped from cylinder to cylinder Eventually took it to an audi specialist and they said it was valve bounce that occurred at high RPM A month later I ended up selling it.. I hope you end up solving the problem as they are awesome cars when running properly 👌

Matt you have a quality performance Audi, running costs are bound to be higher than a small runabout. Just like you I love my Audi. Be careful when washing the engine bay. I have a colleague who had water ingress between a electrical connector. It played havoc with the engine running for weeks. Other than that NGK coil packs are a premium product. I used to use NGK spark plugs way back when 3.0 and 2.8 injection Capris were a affordable performance car........that was in my youth.
