Glad you found the adjustment Tony ! Most “pro” model saws have an adjustable oiler, some other models do also, but not all saws. The longer the bar/chain, the higher the volume needed. Some bars have a grease port in the nose tip, but not all. It all depends on the bar. Don’t forget to check the oil often, now that you turned it up. When running around 20” bars most of my saws run out of gas just before running out of oil. But when using the longer bars 25”-28” they of course use more oil since I have the oiler turned up. So now I just fill the gas about 3/4 tank to insure I run out of gas prior to needing,to fill the oil tank. Hope that makes sense 🪵⛓🪚👍👏🇺🇸 Rick

I don’t see anyone that has said it yet and it gets overthought, but make sure you switch to a thinner oil in colder weather. Regular bar oil gets thick when cold and doesn’t really do it’s job. Keep it up

I figured it was clogged or your oiler needed turned up. I had to turn my 400c oiler up! I think they have them set from factory with a 20 inch bar and when you have a longer bar it requires more oil. Glad it was an easy fix for ya. Your video will prob help others👍🏻👍🏻

All the way for 36” 60” bar for oil . There grease hole on end off bar for tip . If it’s not straight could be your bar , my guess teeth sharpen more one side them other side . Once you get your bar & chain on put the front or nose off bar up to block off wood or cardboard see if getting oil off tip off it’s nose . Should be if not oil pump could be worn, I’ll would check it went you had it take apart own a C clip to take off check out oil pump gear .

I had that happen on my cs620. I was able to pull enough out of the tank to cut off the bad spot and hook it back up to the pump. Just have to make sure you have enough line in the tank otherwise you’ll have to replace the whole line

@@TCsOutdoors1We have 2, 590s. One has a bad piston and the current one had that snapped oil tube. My dad pulled out the other oil tube that sits in the actual chamber and reaches into the clutch area, so now we tried opening it up all the way, and we were right there when 2 deep bolts snapped in half. Ended up opening the one with the bad piston up and just replacing the piston lmao. No luck with that damn oil line (not the broken oil line, had we known earlier it was further behind the clutch woulda been an easy fix).
