I've removed a few sponsors from last seasons shirts to replace with the charity sponsors using vlr , but also used a bit of acetone and isopropanol alcohol which seemed to help and then popped it on a heat press and that worked some magic to remove the last of the residue

Thanks for sharing your experience Ross. Heat is definitely a good way to remove the vinyl. I was worried that mine was too destroyed for heat to be helpful!

The best thing I recommend you doing instead put on acetone a.k.a. nail polish remover on the sponsor and just stretch it out then you can peel off the letters and replace it with a new sponsor which I can recommend you getting one from classic football shirts
