You need to use a business card to gap your flywheel and ignition! And you need a gasket between your intake insulator manifold and carb! If you dont for sure you will idle problems because there will be a air leak! Great video! That noise could be your ignition is hitting your flywheel since you didn't use a gap between it!

There is a gasket between the manifold and carb…the noise was a bolt that was caught on the flywheel…all is good now

Nice to see a little 5th scale content, It's seems like the market for general name brand 5th scales are dying down except for HPI as they just came back out with the 5B (Gas and Flux kits) last year but Losi hasn't had the 5ive-T in stock for months currently they say it's on backorder. I currently have put my plans for a 5ive-T on hold since i'm currently busy working on my XO-1 and planning to get an Arrma Felony or Limitless V2. But maybe someday i'll come back to a 5ive-T like truck.

Yeah the 1/5th scale content is really what started my channel….that sounds like a good plan! Especially if the Losi is hard to get ahold of currently

I had similar issues. I changed out the carb with a new one, didn’t fix it. I discovered one of the fuel lines inside the tank was broken. Put a whole new setup on and problem solved!

You need to check the gap between the flywheel and coil anytime you take the coil off.

It could be also your gasket that holds the head on it could’ve lifted up a little and allowing air that could be another problem or you could have something small floating inside your engine. I’ve got a pull my girlfriends Baja down I think that might be the same problem Keep your videos coming mate I enjoy them but could you do a little bit more on the Baja please 👍🏻🇦🇺

You need to do 5 papers gap between flywheel and ignition coil

check your coil to flywheel clearance.

The motor seems like it has low compression from how easy the cord pulled

That’s very possible….it might need a new cylinder and piston…or I could swap another motor in with even more power 👍😉

Hi mate, I was just wondering if you could do more on the 1/5 Baja scale I have several of them and it’s hard to get any content on some stuff about them that you’re looking for the trouble you’re having with yours is the same trouble I have with my Girlfriend Baja, can you do some more videos on the Baja mate 👍🏻🇦🇺
