9:02 Got a tri-star hex tool from my dad and that fixed the “always grab the wrong tool problem” for me! 😅 Love how this stem/bars combo looks. Just a tad better compared to the other bars IMO. I’ve got the Rapid Rise rear mech with friction thumby on my Panasonic CB2000 700c cross/touring rig and had to get used to it at first, but I like it a lot now. Love the follow up. Thanks for another inspiring video. Going to make my own *bike riding noises now…

just stumbled on this vid and have a same year impact I recently fixed up -- taken it on a couple rides and my rear dropout is also slipping. I got rid of the QR and am just using a straight axel with bolts on each end tightened down lots. your new skewer fix the issue? bike looks nice....maybe I give it another shot lol

@@MattTheHatt52 yeah! So far no slipping, I find the cam on the Shimano skewers are way stronger than most others on the market. I'll find an xtr set for it eventually.

I found some bontrager badged Shimano skewers xt/ultegra for 15 bucks new on e bay,so far haven't pulled my rear wheel out of the drop outs
