I've done the radio in the glove box. It helps reinforce the mounting points if you put a metal plate on the side the bolt goes in.

What's the model number on that pioneer latommyla? I think that is the one I had and so did my buddy and its Bluetooth acts funky, it decides not to come on occasionally and the volume knob sucks! Hope you got a different one

That radio tuck idea is BRILLIANT! Just a thought though, if you want to stop the radio from rattling, maybe try some really good double sided tape? It'll keep it from making a rattling noise while providing a cushion as well as keeping it in one place :) Just a thought, though. Awesome idea!

I have the same head unit in my GSR. It's pretty good, I have it paired to a pioneer powered underseat subwoofer I would definitely recommend for a hatch. For that extra bump.

Nice Tommy. Haven't you considered using a dash gauge pod? They fit perfectly, the gauges stay in sight and it's good for A/F Wideband and Oil Temp (the two most important IMO). That way you can block off the space where the radio was and you currently have gauges, and still have them in a neat clean way.

Same, i have a full gsr swap with a built head i hear some people say the average is 188-190 max but my car is always at 190-198 max but it doesnt overheat or anything coolant level is perfect and it drives amazing.
