I did that to my last 2 cars. Tons of meticulous work, but well worth the time. Added a foam layer on top that too. Helps with lower frequency sound and the Vegas heat.

honestly, the tom was not that too far out of tune. Has some good resonance, hard to judge without the rest of the set and proper mic placement.

Well, you were essentially driving an expensive tin can 😂 The more sound deadening and insulation you add, the better it will get Plans for finishing out the interior? Or keeping it empty to haul stuff?

Haha you’re not wrong. I have a good plan for the interior. Just waiting on some things to line up!

I'm driving my 2023 awd 170 ext dually completely bare and empty with no insulation or sound deadening and I really don't find it that bad. I dunno, I was expecting it to be way worse based on the internet opinion. I'm still going to do some of this stuff. Mostly for temp control with thinsulate.

Ok Jon. I've been thinking about doing this to the Grand Cherokee since I have to completely replace all the carpet and redo the headliner (i too do not want to have to take this stuff out again). Is this product budget friendly? Surgery on "Dark Justice" (name in progress lol) will begin soon.

hahaha dark justice is a great name. Also budget friendly is unlikely. Its probably possible but it depends how deep you go.

Lol thx. I took a look on their website and while it's probably steaper than I would find on Amazon, given what I've spent and plan to spend reviving "DJ", it might be worth it to do it once with a premium product and not think about it again. I'll keep you posted.

I’m dumb and thought you were talking about the entire projects being budget friendly rather than putting sound deadening. In my opinion you can get away with a lot less because you have a much smaller vehicle. They have kits for SUVs you should check those out.
