Sounds like you have a bad connections for sure - or the solenoid is burned out and open. You can disconnect the wiring harness right at the valve cover and test for continuity with an ohm meter, that will tell you if the solenoid it good. Just touch to the terminals in the connector (on the valve cover side). They are paired in the same order as they are installed. If the solenoids are bad you can replace them as I did. If not, you might have another wiring issue that you'll have to track down.

@@dirtyshirtworkshop forgot to mention I have a 5.7 is the firing and solenoid order the same or similar to the 5.9? Needing some help can't find any forums

@@HolySpirit_7744 Firing order on the 5.9 and 6.7 are the same. Cylinder 1 is the front one, 6 the back. Order is 1-5-3-6-2-4. I just have a Chilton book; get one up at your local autostore, they're pretty good! You want book number 20405. Note the book still doesn't cover things like this video - I actually put this knowledge together from several other vids on youtube, then made my own because I wanted to show the whole procedure and how it looked for a regular shade tree guy to do it.

@@dirtyshirtworkshop ok sorry to bother as this is my first ever hemi but should i check the Noids for 6 and 3? And use a Meter I don't have a light meter sadly 😭 and what technically is a "Circuit" for these engine harnesses

@@HolySpirit_7744 If you have a hemi, that is a gas engine, mine is a diesel. I haven't been into the gas one so I don't know much about it. The diesel uses a system call "common rail fuel injection", if the gas one does (you'll have to figure that out), then you probably check it the same way. Again, the wiring harness that goes to the valve cover is the one. As for basic electronic troubleshooting, I'm not going to be a good resource for you there I don't do any videos on that. There are plenty on youtube I bet though. Also again - get the chilton book, they are really good and cover some of that basic stuff.
