I'm guessing this is a 2015 or so, specced to come in under £1k and therefore a bike-to-work bike. Amazing what that sort of money bought then, a really solid performer. Not normally one for a green bike, but this one is a beauty. Thanks, as ever, for the immaculate work.
@bikingchupei2447 Жыл бұрын
checked the Giant website here in Taiwan, for under £1k you could buy a Giant CONTEND SL DISC 1, aluminum frame, carbon fork, disc brake, 105 components but crank downgraded to non series FC-RS520.

Considering inflation, you can get a Contend AR from Giant today for £1150 with disc brakes, tiagra crank and carbon fork. Bikes are still affordable, it's just that inflation has gone mad and UK incomes have stagnated

Can you do a bit more of an indepth on how you wash a bike? Love to see your work! Especially as someone who does the same kind of work in Germany, Hamburg! 2 Questions i have: How do you operate the Ultrasonic Cleaner? My current way to go is: Filling it up halfway with water, then adding the other half with kettle boiled water (no need to wait for heating), putting the parts with a citrus cleaner/water mix in a zip bag and put that in the US Cleaner. 2. I think it would be very interesting so know what the prices are at the end of the video, so that potential customers know what to expect. I noticed that it sets a hurdle when people have to ask for an offer to see the prices. Cheers!

Hi we use a diluted degreaser in the same and put them straight in, we don’t at all share our pricing online.
