thanks, I have to revove my 85's wiper arms and if they don't come off easy I think I will drill a hole in the top of the arm so I can use a reval tool.Then when replacing put some kind of plug in the hole. Wish me luck I

Hey, so I have a 91 d350 (it's a little different, got a clip type piece instead of the tab which just sits behind the splined part and locks in place). My wiper-motor bushing failed but when I got everything out back together my wipers are consistently 3 or 4 inches away from the glass. Any ideas?

lil bit of cup grease on the pin that locks the wiper on.. less trouble for next service..wouldnt it

Hello, I have the exact same parts but cannot clip the nudge into the bushing; it looks it doesn't go to the bottom. How did you manage to press them together for them to hold well in place please? Thanks in advance.

Add some grease to it then just work it around. Its been so long I domt remember if I had any trick.

@@thestigmach1984 Thanks to take the time to answer. From what I have found, there is two brands for these bushing and the right one seems to be from HELP!, part number 49440. I don't remember the brand of mines but the part number is 49447.

When he broke out the screwdriver to take off the wiper arms he pretty much lost me I did this 2 years ago, save yourself some grief get the tool to take off the wiper arms! Rule number 1 if ya have it appart change all the bushings and make sure ya drill a small hole and grease,!

a five dollar wiper puller will "not do that" also making drunken videos and dropping tools into your engine bay

Why didn't you show exactly how you took off the the wiper . This video is absolutely useless.
