I spend a lot of time squeezing my pots ❤ there’s no squeezing the root ball of my big monstera, imma gonna have to cut back the rootball. I was shocked when I pulled the plant out of its pot, one huge dense rootball! I didn’t know I could trim it so i repotted in a bigger pot and gave it a little bit of fresh soil . Don’t think that’ll last, so, a trimming I will do!

WOW! This is so timely! I’d recently picked up a super full pot of Cebu Blue at Walmart. It’s been acclimating to my home in quarantine. Today, it suddenly has several yellow leaves. How quickly do these root in water?

I have propagated this in both water and perlite (prop box) and have had good success with both. I prefer the prop box method for sure as it is an easier transition to soil....but that is just a preference.
