diyjeff1838 In case you didn't know. The hoods from 67/72 are all the same. That also includes the dump trucks from that same era. 1967 Bump sides are a one year only deal on some of their parts hood emblems, heater knobs, radio, grille and the doors. However 68/72 doors will retrofit on to a 67 they just will have the door lock knobs that 67's don't have.

I think half the squarebody's popularity is the repop parts. Its a full catalog car, you need it its available. The mustang and early bronco i think are the only fords like that. Even though the dentside is one of fords most popular vehicles. By the way, when will the IH repop panels start coming?

This is a left field request for AMD if you could forward it. Ask if they could make rear quarters for 69-75 International Travelalls. As far as I've found nobody makes them and loads of people need them. International has quite a following but body part suppliers only produce scout parts. I'd be willing to loan them my travelall as a pattern.

Hey Solomon. I wonder where their sheetmetal is from. U.S.A. or somewhere else? We used "non U.S." aftermarket fenders and doors on my friends 1976 Dodge Ramcharger about 25 years ago and they only took a few years to rust out.

I was heavy into the 67-72 GM trucks for a long time, and while I do try to support US pieces, I will also say that *MOST of* the China pieces of today are better than *MOST of* the US pieces of 20 years ago. The original repro complete tailgate made for the 67-72 GM truck weighed just over 50% the weight of a stock one. We’ll ignore the glaring errors made in stamping… like not embossed with the GMC nor CHEVROLET lettering, but those gates were such garbage, I sat in the middle of the gate, fully assembled, properly installed, finished product… and my 195 pound self bowed the damn gate. Wouldn’t even latch. That was in 2001 or 02, so just over 20 years ago. As a union man I also wonder country of origin, but if it is the best piece made, with a forever warranty from rust (!!!) I would be ok if the box said China.

Seen way too many done up vehicles that the sum of parts way out paced the sale worth of the end result . Especially when you get into making the hottest engine and adding bling. Nothing drives the price way up and adds value for little investment like a good paint and body job. Not a fan of the roached paint look.
