Fixing Steering Wheel Controls on a Mustang

I just replaced my cruise control buttons and did the same exact as you did in this video. It took 10 mins and was very easy. There is another video posted, but that one has you remove the trim around it and uses a screwdriver, which can damage or crack the trim. Removing the steering wheel like this is actually the manufacturer service instructions if they do it at a dealership. It’s an easy 10 min job.

I think you have to be going about 25 to 30 miles an hour for the cruise control to kick-in.

it can but it's a little bit of a pain.

Yes all u have to do is push the whole button control inside (toward the inside of the steering wheel. Then u can disconnect it and slide it out

Somebody know where I can buy new buttons for the steering wheel? Would be nice with shipment to Germany.

the skip track button on my 14' mustang steering wheel stopped working today. Do you think replacing the button as you did would fix the issue, or would it be an electronic issue? all other buttons on that side of the steering wheel work?
