I think that these two sets are a perfect pair. As we could se in the series, the overlord dragon was way bigger than lloyd's. Lego propably made him smaller for marketing (there always have to be some smaller sets) and not to attach to the original. Overall, I can't see any major problems with any of these dragons. I'm definetelly getting them both in the future ;D

My little sister got Kai’s Fire Dragon. The disgusting 4+ abomination that I’ve almost flushed down the toilet several times. It’s gonna give the poor kid PTSD. So I either pay a large plumbing bill after trying to cram Legos down a toilet, or I find some bricks to fix the nightmare fuel.

I wanted to get that set but it is way overpriced for what you got and if you compare it to the much better value skull sorcerers dungeon for around the same price the value is clearly there. Plus I only wanted the ice dragon and ice emperor but that was half the set. I'll just bricklink it in the future.

Building a dragon is very simple I didn't multiple times before I didn't have enough Lego pieces and the right Lego pieces but with the amount of Lego pieces that you have I'm pretty sure that I can build a worthy Golden dragon not the best at building dragon heads but I can still try and build one also if you wanted to be like the TV show then you need the dragon to be smaller than the garmadon dragon because that's how it is in the TV show
