Hey Greg, I’ve got a ‘07-1/2 Ram dually with a 6.7 Cummins that’s been to Mexico and it has had it’s transmission reworked to withstand the programmer that was in it setup at 135hp, I changed it when it went to Mexico to a Smarty Jr and as the truck was in the shop for front end work my tuner came up missing thankfully the truck was detuned back to stock now I’m looking for a new programmer that’s great for towing and will still get me my 18-20mpg when not towing and driving 77-85mph

Still using the factory Seperator plate I thought that was a weak point and all the 68

Not with the billet channel plate. We actually had a few bonded plates delaminate and send debris into the VB. The increased stiffness of the billet channel plate and flat sanded castings eliminates any cross leaks.

Good video, very informative, question 🙋🏻‍♂️ There’s a few transmission shops that claim to have quality parts EX. You have Muldoons, ATS, Rev Max Is it all on preference or what. Can a comparison of the said three ? Or like I said is it a preference? Would like your opinion I have a 2017 2500 6.7 Cummins Megacab with under 50k I would like to avoid The trans to Grenade.

Nothing against Muldoons whatsoever, but I have Randy's stage 2 in my 08 megacab. Just watch a few of his videos (Randy's Transmission) where he takes his dually off road in Moab, Utah. You can't deny that he beats the snot out of his equipment. My 68 has a pretty easy life behind a mostly stock 6.7 with 500 horse tune 5.

Does the torque converter/flex plate in your dually chatter in park? I had an aftermarket trans in my 14 with a tripple disc converter and it chattered alot in park and neutral and I hated it, the trans worked perfect but,I've been thinking about sending the trans in my new truck to John to get built like yours but I don't want to hear the converter

I have a question. I see your old solenoid pack was a grey one 5 check balls. But you installed a white one 7 check balls. Any reason on doing that?

White solenoid packs have been more reliable for us, and are compatible in every application.

They said nothing about the separator plate, and the issue it causes needing solved and that they address it. And it is no where mentioned on website description of the package. This is very elementary knowledge and fix of these valvebody's. Disconcerting these guys don't deal with it, so their expertise is questionable altogether for vehicle performance.
