Oil cooler no no no We have a ford transit 2007 it blew the oil cooler 9 fucking times AND then the block cracked and in only has 200 k miles on it And don't get me started about the starting problem

Vehicle speed sensor is what the issue with the speedometer and shifting.

Freed diesel that speedo/shift problem is your alternator going bad. The voltage regulator starts to go bad and put out small amounts of A/C current and the frequency fucks with the VVS causing the truck to think its moving when your at a light. Im a diesel mechanic, Ive ran into this issue quite a few times. Just happened recently in my personal 2001 psd as well.

@@freeddiesel well damn, get ya one of them autel ht200 blue tooth scan tools from Walmart, it hooks up too your phone and you can look at every sensor in that truck, show ya which ones are going wonky. They work for the 7.3s i have one in mine for the times I don't wanna yank out the big boy scan tool.

ive done a 7.3 oil cooler before. the back 3 bolts where the filter is are super easy, then the bottom bolt on the front of the motor is a bit more challenging but you can get it from under the truck, then the upper one i just cut a little chunk out of the wheel liner and with like 4 extensions i was able to get the upper bolt out. This comment isnt so much for you clayton but for anyone else that has to do an oil cooler, thats why im mentioning it

You're lucky that the o-rings were leaking to the outside and not into the cooling system! Not sure why you pulled the front wheel, I've never had to do that to change the oil cooler! Live and learn!

I always keep a spare cam sensor in the glove box, and always make sure it's a Motorcraft or you'll be changing it again real soon, stay away from that aftermarket Dorman garbage!

@@cavin24v hey I'm not saying it's not fast I've got a 2018 6.7 Cummins deleted ect with 3.42 gears and a 2001 5.9 Cummins with 4.11 gears my 7.3 being a 6speed and having 4.88 gears pulls my 20,000lb trailer easier no contest just let the clutch out and she rolls unloaded not as quick as the other 2 trucks it's all in gearing
