I don't understand why people get upset that you're being sponsored. Your videos are well explained and it's fun to watch. The way you get trucks and cars out of ditches and similar situations is just great. Your "free" towing and repair work is a good example of a Samaritan. You could also not do all of that and just make money through your company, have more time for your family and not have to explain to people what you do, which again leads to these idiots knowing better. On the other hand, as you said, when these people complain in the comments, that's an interaction, and KZbin likes that.
@dave_n8puАй бұрын
Being on a Premium Family KZbin account, I don't see ads that YT puts in and if I'm not interested in watching the sponsored ad, I jump ahead which I do on several channels I watch. So if the ad is interesting, I watch it, if not, jump ahead. Problem solved for me.

Hey Casey, Self employed Building contractor here. I set my business up after years of being a hired hand. Less is more. A small team and boss that knows his shit can do so much more. I finally let my single employee go and just did jobs that I could do alone. So much better and the money is the same! Plus I don't have to worry about feeding my employees families too.

Long story but they support something that is very near/dear to some family friends who lost their son, that track was his whole world. You use the funds to help other people and to me that’s the important part of being a member. It’s amazing to me people complain about sponsored ads when in most cases they get your content for free. My guess is most members of your channel support for the same reasons! Ty for all you do and I appreciate the entertainment aspect as well

I love it when you are able to help people... As a disabled veteran, i have been without a vehicle while living in a small town for 10+ years.. it sucks... Last year i was homeless for a year and a half, and it was hard! But from time to time people helped me out with cab fare to the VA and back, or helping put me in a hotel until my apt. Was ready, and that helped 10 times more than they ever knew. When your parents die, and your dog dies, and they sell the house you were renting for a decade, and you have no more close friends.. its an extremely low point, and even a litle kindness goes a long ways.. so, please keep helping people! ❤

I saw Matt in an interview where he said he's come to realize his primary business now is entertainment rather than recovery. From that perspective, the Banana is a character on the show. It allows him to send out a couple of employees we don't know and still keep our attention. Your channel is more about you than the vehicle (tho the zacklift is kind of becoming a character) but I'm pretty sure your followers are used to you swapping vehicles. On a completely different subject, next time you do a vid about Ecoflow, I'd love to see one about a permanent setup for your whole house, how to use it without ticking off the power company, how to add solar to it a little at a time, etc.

I understand you. Here’s why. I am not you. I don’t have your big equipment (or the space to store it), or your background in heavy equipment, or skills, or, for that matter, energy. I am, however, mechanically inclined and a tool freak. And retired, so within limits my time is my time to do with what I want. Given all that, I spend a lot of time fixing things for people, mostly my neighbors. Lawn mowers, snowblowers that sort of stuff, kitchen equipment, whatever. What I have observed is that often, for minimal cost to me (not just dollars, but also time and effort), I can do something that is hugely valuable for someone else. Sometimes, it is as little as having a tool that they don’t have (and usually didn’t know existed). The result is a huge smile on someone’s part. I find that immensely satisfying. I’ll be surprised if you do not receive some negative comments about lack of ambition and your not wanting to expand to multiple crews and fleets. Such comments may have some validity - if applied to someone else.
