You can literally 3 shot enemies with basic hits on surge mode. What do you mean no power boost. The second you turn that symbiote rage mode on. That shit starts cookin. Also no the sumbiote suit doesn't make spiderman stronger. It makes him hold back less and tricks him into thinking he gets stronger. (In the original comics, and cartoons. Including 90s and spectacular) it doesn't truely give him a boost until they've been bonded together for a significant time. As the symbiote itself wasn't very strong and was gaining power slowly through it's connection to peter. This game makes you get actual symbiote abilities off the getgo. And makes you truely strong. Surge mode makesbyou nugh unstoppable but they still kkep the challenge to it. Because it's a videogame. And it wouldn't be engaging if every enemy was instakilled. You wanna make Peter feel stronger. Lower the difficulty and you'll annihilate enemies in a few hits. The black suit has details like never taking battle damage, which tricks you visually into thinking you are always fine, and tougher. It gives you new moves. A more agressive peter. Brutal combos and attacks. And a rage mode that goes crazy. What else do you want 😭

Lowkey this is all personal feelings forbyou dawg. Most people actually felt the difference. And ye even if it would be nice to have more immersiveness. You would be sacrificing so much good gameplay mechanics and a fire combat system for a bit more immersiveness on the feeling.

@sagegabs4946 mfo doesn't understand the point of a fucking rage boost. Do you even know how symbiotes work? Even better do you know how games work? Cause not only does having a permanent rage boost/strength increase make for a ridiculous move from a game developer and player standpoint. But the fact you completely miss the point of the symbiote while you're at it. Symbiotes feed off strong emotions and need them to both survive and get stronger. Large amounts of Anger therefore make the Symbiote stronger and more aggressive until peter calms down.. who would have fucking figured. The creature that gets stronger from strong emotions can make the user stronger when they feel strongly about something 😮 At least know the basics of a fucking character before you complain about them "not" being done properly

I totally get that, but I rather have more immersion than difficulty. Most combat situations can be handled the same way and increasing difficulty doesn’t do much to change that up.

@@J1210mk2here is the thing though, his main point is that there just wasn’t really any true difference between the black suit and regular Spider-Man. Nothing truly gave a “wow” moment. “L3 + R3” I’ve seen that before for super ability, L1 + square, triangle, X or circle. Was done well, but of course we’ve seen it before. (RPG) We needed a wow moment with the suit and unfortunately there was really nothing that gave that. No different swinging, no new move sets, (for example I think we were played from the gameplay trailer when Peter did the wall kicks, when I realized Miles could do it too I felt really disappointed) and the only true “bully” we got from Peter was the “pop some pills and tell me how you really feel” and that was pretty much it.

It feels weird, Insomniac put a lot of work in the voice acting in the first game but in here they were very lousy... They could've recorded another two sets of Yuri's voice while using the black suit being more agressive and even being an @ss to everyone, and to make the game even more coherent, cancel every side mission of him helping out random citizens like the guy with the parrots, the blind lady etc etc and unlock them after we get rid of the symbiote... But oh weel... "Representation" is more important than satisfying the fans

In story mode with Peter in the black suit does sound agressive and none caring, but for secundary missions the devs didn't worked on that. You can help NY citizens with the black suit and you're still "friendly". Can't be more clear than that. For your second question with no "?" I'll answer. The devs focused on wokeness instead of story telling, even Brian Intihar said he doesn't care about MJ being so OP, and why tf would we want to play as a deaf girl? Yeah yeah, it's optional but in a super hero game we want to do super hero stuff. Does that answer your questions?

For your first spelling mistake, it's secondary, not "secundary." for your next, it's aggressive, not "agressive." and after that it's no one not "none." frankly I could spend the entire reply debunking your grammatically horrific response. Let's move on to your arguments next. Starting with Spiderman being "too friendly" while using the black suit, I could understand why you might think this to be the case as they did use pre-recorded lines for some of the side missions and didn't record black suit alternatives; however, occasionally for random events or other side things like Hunter blinds or crimes there is a chance for less friendly lines to be used if you have the symbiote suit I believe it varies depending on how far along the infection is. Now, up next is the "wokeness" argument. To break it up, let's start with MJ being "OP." The short answer is she's not. She still dies in about two hits if you break stealth. The difference is she has a weapon, so she can do stealth takedowns and have more options. This was a choice made to make the hated mandatory MJ stealth sections more bearable for players with an aggressive playstyle without removing them outright. As for the small section where you play as Hailey, you immediately debunked your argument. When you mentioned that it is optional, if the player doesn't like it, all they have to do is pause and then click abandon mission. It's as easy as that. I agree that the section was a bit slow and a little bit redundant, but it's not like it was mandatory or gating something super important; it was just a bit more world-building. That should sum everything up, disregarding the many more spelling/grammar mistakes I could have plucked out of your "argument" and brought up. But I'm not that petty. You are sorely mistaken if you thought you had some superior standing because I didn't use question marks on a KZbin comment.

That is true, for some missions Peter sounds more aggressive but not in all of them. Now MJ, bro... No one wanted to play as her, she is boring and not super powered but Bryan's team went with the fake "female empowerement". Are you gonna tell me a reporter with a little training is able to sneak behind TRAINED HUNTERS and beat symbiote infected people? Seriously? 😂😂😂 Of course that's woke garbage content. Where is the police in this game? Are npc cops evil too? And Hailey, what kind of world building are you talking about? Even if it's optional why is this in a Spider-Man game? With all of this I'm not saying I hate the game, BUT Iknow it could've been way better than what we've got.
