Fixing The Charging Port On A Speaker

Here I try to fix a snapped-off Micro-USB port off a Bluetooth speaker.
Inexpensive things usually have their weak points, but tend to them and they'll serve you a very long time.

hey, if your reading this comment (hopefully), i got wired speaker, and plug into this USB Charger Outlet, my speaker let out static noise, then suddently it doesnt work anymore, can you give any insight of what happened. i will appreciate it if you can, oh btw i love your video

Hey, it could be a faulty USB port, preventing it from charging or powering on - you could disassemble it and check the USB's soldered pins, and if broken off, try to resolder if you're up for it Alternatively, it could be that the amp (or circuitboard) has gone, unfortunately. Speakers are pretty simple and robust things, but electronics do die out eventually. Good luck, and thanks for the comment

How to fix the port? Don't fix the actual port, just put on a new one by rigging a functional set up from some other wiring.. Bro this isn't actually fixing a set up. You're just replacing it with something else's uncompromised port. It solves the problem but isn't the same as fixing the problem WITHOUT using parts from something else.
