Fixing the Control Panel - Vive Mobility Scooter

Learn how to fix & replace the control panel on your mobility scooter.
Step 1:
Remove the four screws located on the front & back to detach the existing panel.
Step 2:
Remove three sets of wires from the motherboard to disconnect the panel.
Step 3:
Grab the new control panel & reconnect the wires that were disconnected to their corresponding locations.
Step 4:
Secure the control panel into it's original position, making sure that the wires are not sticking out. Tighten with the four screw knobs to keep it in place.

GREAT VID!!!!!!!!!!! HOWEVER....Always REMOVE the battery BEFORE performing ANY work on your scooter. All electrical connections MUST go back from whence they came lest damage will occur. SO, mark the cables BEFORE you disconnect. ALSO photo the underside of the dash BEFORE you begin is also a great help. Good Luck! !

The video starts after the panel has been separated. Dad's scooter panel won't separate even after 4 screws are removed. Am I being too gentle?

hi there well explained vid, i bought a non running mobility scooter to put the parts on my fishing barrow worx a treat, i was wondering can i disconnect the backward and forward lever and some how connect it up to the variable speed controller like on a golfing walker. all the best.

Yea call the company and ask for the replacement board for this scooter. They told me to go to Home Depot or Lowes. What a bunch of idiots.
