This community needs to support each other. It’s such a large project and problems were bound to come up with this many people/projects being put together. Have patience and understanding with your fellow niche PlanCo community members

It's pretty sad to hear that apparently my Gulpee coaster is the only one out of six modded creations, which is up for getting the chop or being replaced. And all others are considered to either stay or getting extra attention to get final video footage. 😂😢 As if mine would be the root cause of crashes, which seems kinda unfair to bring across to the viewers. But anyway, no hard feelings. Do what you need to do.

A very negative video in more ways than one, I think that’s it for project Planco unfortunately

I agree. So close to the end now with this park it’s either, not meant to be rude, suck it up and get the final video out with all the modded coasters/rides or, unfortunately, remove the modded coasters/rides all together. You shouldn’t be the main name for the not getting this park finished !

Completely grasping at straws when I can almost guarantee it’s simply due to the tens maybe hundreds of thousand of parts in the park. No clue why he would think it’s yours when the crashes have been happening for far longer than it’s been in.

I really liked your coaster. One of the best of the park with that one on tiki island. However, I think the mods indeed are ruining it. How Jonny did his reasearch is how I would do it. Take a safe file from when the park was ok and then check were was the caused of the problem. 3/6 mods were in their when the crashes did not accur. Unfortunately your coaster, the log flume and modded house were around the crashes. So I also assume some of this creations is caused the crashes. Hope you wil get in and make it so your coaster will still work without the mods!

I don't think other parks you reviewed had more pieces than this. They might have FELT that way, but I genuinely doubt that's a mathematical truth. Plus, Project Planco uses virtually all the pieces in the game, from all the themes. Meaning everything has to be actually loaded in video RAM for real time usage. Which is a genuine problem for the computer's performance : the fact the fantasy pieces are not in a western park, for instances, saves a lot of memory for your usual park. Here, you are using the memory of all the pieces in the game + TMTK + massive quantity of both + mods, all at once. So even if Project Planco has less pieces than another park (which i doubt!), the fact it has way more TYPES of parts can't be good for the game engine (and ere, candyland is clearly beaten, as candyland was done before all DLCs were here, I'm pretty sure). And with issues like this piling on top of one another, it's no surprise the game becomes unstable. I know I am probably sounding like an annoying, broken record to you at this point, with my computer engineer, "not fun", technical comments. But I hope you can save the hard work of everyone in some way. Even if it involves something a bit radical like splitting the park in several files. Your comments in your last park spotlight seem to indicate you're rediscovering the virtues of going for a more reasonable park size. And I hope that feel is correct, as I hope to never see you devastated by the backlash of an oversized ambition ever again in the future.

A few things… Yes I mentioned that the Gulpee Coaster was modded but tbh this was a thing that was even more obvious as with other coaster in this park. This coaster type can’t have such a steep lifthill in game. My „rotation“ build wasn’t modded at all. I used a in Game glitch, that batch and also Deif used before and isn’t responsible for crashing. It’s just turning grid pieces on all axis. You can own the base game only and do that without a mod, even in a big park, nothing happens. Even though you don‘t wanna to to hear it (again) but this park is simply too big. Yeah it is maybe not that spreaded as Candyland or other parks. (What can cause btw additional lag as well if is too much in a „small“ space). BUT it contains a lot of not really optimised tmtk. Custom media (I read once 1 second custom video is equivalent to around 24 custom images. Imagine now what that probably means to custom music). Animatronics, foliage and at least 150-250k pieces. That’s impossible to handle for PlanCo. At one point it gets too much. The mods that were used in it, are the most popular mods, don’t cause usually problem and are just a tiny crumb in the project PlanCo park. Main problem is the piececount, custom media and the tmtk. You probably wouldn’t have any kind of problems except of maybe a bit laggy here and there if you would have every area as it’s own park. Simply because it’s not that massive. I’ve got a quite good gaming laptop. Beartastic‘s huge park Aldermore runs for me with an average fps of 25. When I opened the plot park of phase 2 where only coaster where in, some already build buildings and the volume boxes I had a very laggy average 10. autosave took 1-2 minutes if not longer. An unplayable park was even at this point expectable. And it had at this stage probably 100-150k less pieces than the last point with all plots filled.

@@RyRy2312 no mod. You can download mods. The one Kody used is something called track/overhaul. With it you can reduce track length to 1m and moves tracks and coaster in every direction. Steeper lifthill are just one possibility with it. Batch used the mod to created the walls for his sci-fi build. After you installed it, build with it and someone else opens the park or BP he gets the coaster or track ride in this modded version. Even if he didn’t installed the mod.

@@RyRy2312 what I did with my wall was the in game thing. Deif found this glitch by accident around 2 years ago. It’s easy to do but not that easy to explain. Moomin made a while an explanation video. It’s neither a mod or a bug.

For the christmas village and spooky areas, it would be a nice *alternative* to convert the rides into pedestrian areas, so that blueprints don't go to waste and visitors get to walk-through them.

Outstanding effort, Jonny. This truly has been an epic undertaking and your determination will win! Placing the last builds will serve as closure and even if the entire park does not run, the plan for sections sounds like the way to go. Heyo!

I've never had any issues with the grid walls glitch, like others have posted before the park ran fine with them for the longest time. I'd be more inclined to think we've hit a particle effect/light limit. Feel free to delete some effects from the tiki island coaster if it helps the game run smoother.

no rush needed Johnny, take whatever time it takes.i was also thinking that recording the rides seperatly and later piecing those recordings together would be better ; who knows whats gonna happen when/if you open park+all rides to the guests, might crash permantly.whe all seen each ride at say 90% which is good enough and whe all followd the making of this epic park so whe have seen the potential;yes a trully finished park would offcorse be great but whe are satisfied with what you given us now. big thumbs up on future efforts and luck, realy hope it all works out, thx.

It's clearly because of the stone corner pieces I used for floor tiles in the main entrance you brought up. Lol But seriously, so close to the end I'd probably lose my mind trying to deal with this.

@Channel5 Gaming, Johnny if you want to stop crashes complelty you might want to consider just getting the mod yourself. idk if you have it yet, but normally if you don't have the mods things will crash. I have a tutorial on how to install it and everything on my YT channel which I can link if you respond to this. It's a fairly easy set up...

This beautiful project seems to now turn the game into a painful experience, which is bad. If you Johnny doesn't have fun anymore and launch the game like you go to the factory, something is broken. To my eyes, it is time to go back to little (and various) projects to keep back the fun level high.

Seems like it shouldn’t have been a surprise 🤷🏻 allowing modded rides was kind of a bad decision. Especially in a park of this size with hundreds of triggers and screens and TMTK items, you had to see this coming. 😢 R. I. P. Project Planco.😢
