Just wow honestly!! What an amazing job, you two have become quite the duo in earth moving!! I think that pan is second only to the trackhoe as far as the dirt work goes!! I bet that was a white knuckle moment on the third pass when it wanted to tip over 😳😳😳 I was saying to myself a few times, man that thing seems to be tippy and bouncy 🤔 Then you mentioned it, but I'm sure the more you use it the more that won't be obvious while in use! Did ole Bruiser ride the whole day with ya? That was epic to see, he was sleeping sitting up there towards the end 😁😁😁 I totally agree with the older stuff, and toy said it best....it's paid for!! 😉😁 I wish I could get someone like y'all down here to fix that one huge wet spot in the bottom. That pan would be perfect to move the high sides down into the middle!! Thank you both for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing what's next!! Oh and I love the voiceover shots again, I wish I could learn that editing trick, very well done sir!! Job looks amazing!! 😁😁😁👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 HATE I missed the live the other day, plow issues had me on tunnel vision 😁🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’ve gotten used to the pan rocking over the years. Every pan I’ve pulled over the years has done it. Some are just worse than others though. Yep old Bruiser rode most of the day. I will let him off occasionally to get out and play. I would be glad to help ya if we were closer for sure.

We are hoping to get some soybeans on this farm as soon as possible so that the ground is covered and hopefully prevent erosion.

Great work guys, how does the dirt not fall out of the pan after you get a load, is there a hydraulic gate of some kind?

Yessir a hydraulic gate moves up and down bud you watch the video closely you can see it move up and down occasionally.

Preface this statement by saying I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. However, I'm surprised you didn't scrape the dirt off the top of the hills instead of the side of the hills. How come?
@DylanJoyceFarms Жыл бұрын
We are just trying to preserve the top soil on top of the hills. While we are making our cuts the pan also dumps dirt into the old ditch to help level it out. Cutting out the soil in front of the levy also helps to give us more water holding capacity. I’ll try to address this more in a future video. Thanks for a great question.

Speaking of so called newer and better I got stuck twice yesterday breaking peanut land for a friend on a 240 hp Case IH tractor pulling a 5 bottom in furrow switch plow. Both times the hydraulics are lacking in response due to the tractor being all push button controls. It has a CVX drive trans which is also slow in shifting response. If it had levers and a manual trans I wouldn't have gotten stuck because my human response time is quicker. Had everything set a 100%. Also having trouble with it de rating the engine to idle due to throwing a code from the damn DEF injection system. In my opinion absolute junk. Waiting on the dealership to send someone to fix it. Did the land owner help with the bill?
