Im honestly a bit scared to buy one of these, now that their super expansive youll never know if they would work when the ship home

It's pretty scary! The best thing you can do is watch sites like craigslist and wait for one to crop up that is a decent price, works with your system**, and looks to be in good shape. Even still, there could be problems like I had! On the other hand, once you get a good deal, it's pretty worth it!

@@ThePigeonPack thanks! I don’t have a job yet so I’m still using parents money...i plan on getting a rock band 4 guitar for my xbox one this Christmas because why not....but I’m starting to think i should buy the rock band 4 legacy adapter so i can buy a cheap rock band 2-3 controller for a bit cheaper. What do you think?
@ThePigeonPack3 жыл бұрын
@@Edward-bz2sc I get ya! Honestly it’s a really tough call. All of this stuff is pretty much out of date and you’re stuck in the used market. The legacy adapter is, frustratingly, the hardest part of the puzzle if you go for the old stuff. They’re pretty rare so it’s honestly really hard to find one even under 200 bucks unless you’re searching haaard. But the rock band 4 controllers are honestly also more rare than 2-3 ones, so those can cost a lot more too. Honestly, I think the CHEAPEST move right now would be getting rock band 2-3 controllers, and rock band 2 or 3 , and an Xbox 360. Lots of fun to have with the older games, and if you wanted to keep going, you could start searching for a legacy adapter (price might just keep going up though). After that, and especially if you have no interest in playing the previous games, I think I’d say go for the rock band 4 stuff. It’s newer, so there should be less chance it’ll have a bunch of problems from overuse, and you won’t have to worry about the legacy adapter. What we both should’ve done was have ps4s lmao because they don’t have to worry about this legacy adapter garbage lmaoo

Thank you so. so much for this video. I'm just getting into these games and the guitar I bought seems to only work when it wants lol. Definitely gonna use this to try and fix it up. Thank you again!

Heck yea! I’m glad this came in handy and I hope it actually helps out. Let me know how it goes!!

The neck is actually one of the easier parts of the guitar once you take it apart you just have to clean the silicone parts and the boards where the sensors are for the buttons you clean those up and for the most part part of things get back to working, taking out the buttons is tricky, but sometimes they need to be lubricated and that fixes things also.

Hey man the neck part can separate, there is a button on the top of neck, you press it and it comes out, just press and pull up so that way you can view al the neck open

Well dang! I might need to check that out

Just got a used RB1 Wii guitar, the dongle (correct dongle already check serial numbers) blinks and so does the guitar but they will not sync together. If I do what's in this video think I can find what's wrong or should I just ship back the guitar and get a different one? Assuming its not the dongle thats the issue as it shows up on my PC when I plug it in there and still doesn't sync with the guitar.

I was looking for a way to dampen the sound of the frets when this came on my recommended. Didn't assist in my problem, but I got to see what that rattling was! I distinctly remember some past RB guitars had and I stayed to watch you solve it. At least I know I to solve that one if it ever occurs again.

Hey well I’m glad you departed with a lil info anyway haha. Maybe adding some padding inside the neck could help the noise? You’d have to be careful to not ruin the press of the buttons though. That’s the best I can think of!

No upstroke? Must be James's custom guitar

Some rockband guitars work for clone hero. I know for sure the Wii ones work (I use two of them)
