If my strum bar would actually register up/down strumming instead of missing notes, I would've already completed this entire game.. It's rather frustrating knowing I can FC every song w/o a worry, but due to a faulty piece of plastic I no longer play. And I'm not trying to throw out another $40 for a new when the one I have is brand new out of the box. Guess I'll have to drink a couple cold ones and continue on without a care for FCs.

Nik Coffman all of the guitars are made mostly symmetric for lefties. Game just registers everything upside-down until you enable Lefty Mode (which I don't use)

Well, this is a bit late xD but in my opinion, RB4 Rivals is way more worth the price than GHL and GHH now is owned by Activision, which is a greedy company that loves money, meanwhile, RB is owned by Harmonix, the company that owned GH until GH3. Also, RB4 Rivals has more songs, instruments and modes.

In this package, I received a physical RB4 disk and the Rivals expansion was a code. I do not know if there are copies that are solely the expansion (I think XL / PSN would have a "digital" version so maybe check there?)

IMO, game experience isn't really different (cause the concept's the same), but charging dock is super nice because it saves from long-term battery buying. Foldable neck is also cool if needed to be portable.

Rock Band's built guitars that way since they started. The five up top are standard, that's how Harmonix did it when they were the Guitar Hero people, but the buttons I'm using, I'm pretty sure you can tap them without strumming during solo parts. By habit, I still strum during a lot of solos, but it's an option
