I used to hate sandblasting until I converted my china freight pressure pot to a wet media blaster. Now it clogs up less frequently, makes less of a mess and you don't have to wear supplied air to avoid silicosis. The only downside is having to have a water supply near by and flash rust. Keep up the good work 💪

I'm sticking to dry for now - I run the same bag of abrasive through again and again, topping it up with fresh as needed. If I go wet, I'm going to go through a lot more abrasive. I'm loving this blaster though. It really works well.

I’m well below average, can take magic or leave it, but lovin’ your style - both in panel work and in presentation! ;)

You say you like the smell of lacquer thinners. Sounds perfectly normal to me. I personally really like the strong smell of cellulose thinners. I've come to the conclusion that it's almost a Pavlovian dog response, where I subconsciously associate smelling cellulose in the air as meaning I'm pretty much at the end of the motivation crushing weeks/months of constant cutting and welding on a project car. It's the same as how the distinctive smell of burnt "Castrol R" oil in the air always get's my heart pounding a little faster. As that stuff was pretty expensive, and (here in the UK at least) it was mainly only used in really high performance 2 stroke motorbikes, catching a whiff of it usually meant that a motorbike ride induced adrenaline overdose was in my immediate future. :)
