This system is a pretty good idea but the number one concern is going to be privacy. If medical records can be at easily sent and accessed my multiple medical centers, many patients are going to feel uneasy about who is looking at their medical history. Although, I do agree this can be beneficial and even save lives. When trying to set appointments as Bill said it is a hassle to have things sent from one doctors office to another, the time wasted trying to send things back and forth and having to redo scans of biopsies through the new facility is a waste of the patients time. In some cases this waste of time could result in their health worsening or even death. As the video mentioned revolutionizing heath care through technology advances can save lives, and make the process of receiving care much simpler.

You can have access control and only allow the specific care provider access to the patient data. For example, if you go to the hospital to meet Dr.x, only Dr. X will allow to see your information. Moreover, data will be secured and encrypted and protect by PIPEDA and PHIPA act.
