With the hype on the Traffic AI, I thought traffic fixing wasn't going to be an issue. I'm not a detailer, the game centers around the traffic for me.

I'm back, so it's working for me I'm on the same map as yours in the video and I had to move my industrial to the big island's shores and gave the industrial sector a trumpet and a half cloverleaf and built a 3 lane elevated highway on the downtown where the 4 lane avenue used to be and put two interchanges and upgraded the roads where the interchanges are to two way 4 lane ones. I also rezoned my entire commercial on the 4 lanes while not much rezoning took place on residential. Currently my traffic flow is ranging 70-80% with 6k+ pop.

Using the parallel mode speeds up building highways. Traffic behavior is ridiculous; why traffic is going at the same exit while most of them wants to reach further in city and destination is logically accessible with the other exit past the blocked one. Also, when ever theres a never ending crash or accident that blocks ALL traffic, i just switch the road to a slight differant one and go back to the original and most of problems are then solved.
