Your interchanges are so complex, I was expecting it to be a huge mission to untangle it, but you made it look like a piece of cake!

Man, I remember in 5B1C when you were nervous to do voice over and I don't know why! Hearing your thought process and why you make certain decisions across the city are such a nice addition!

This interchange is sooooo smooth! The surrounding area compliments it super well, too.

At 9:15 the interchange with ring road needs to ban the turning lanes on roads that have slip lanes already. Great video, the traffic eased up, partially because the work places and homes of the people living there were deleted 😂 would have been nice to see it with as many remaining homes as before
@imperatur9 ай бұрын
I don’t think the homes make a huge difference 😅

Dang bro, 2 bill already? Putting in some work! I love it when the cities get to the point of choking up, it's fun making them more efficient!
@krumplethemal88317 ай бұрын
Do you want zero traffic? Close off your outside city connection. Build a small circle road that loops back out of your city but connect it to a pedestrian path. Only allow pedestrians to enter your city. Boom no traffic! Don't worry about your industrial, they will magically collect their resources.
@Sam-es2gf9 ай бұрын
The new junction coming into downtown is dangerous. It's too close to the slip roads and there will be weaving.

Looks very nice, great job. I was just wondering if it's possible to create pedestrian crossings underneath the bigger roads. Because in real life that is by far the much more common solution than bridges above the roads. At least where I live.

Pretty tricky because there's no stairs, a compact tunnel entrance is impossible in my experience 😅 [Slope too steep]

Small improvement would be bench / picnic table / garbage bin placement in the hand crafted parks 🙂

It's an improvement but there'll be a lot of weaving in this short section between the rail overpass and diamond intersection.
@jay_2859 ай бұрын
how do you blend your districts together, from industrial and ports to suburban areas to mid density to high?
@bullholder9 ай бұрын
Think the rail is going to get congested. Most of the line is only double track shared with cargo and passenger. And the cargo rail terminal next to downtown is only single track which could also cause congestion if trains have to wait to pass
@duskmoon1819 ай бұрын
I ran into a similar issue with passenger and cargo rail in CS1. The simplest solution was to establish two lines running parallel to each other and build bypasses where necessary.

I think you did a good job on the interchange, but there is still more work to be done. Is there some way to get those trams (or the cars) off the artery? My gut tells me that as your population increases, that arterial is still going to be a huge headache. Nice to hear your voice for the first time.

I do love how he uses post processing to make the current game look more like the bright CS1 style had, but as a Seattle resident I don't mind the dark look of CS2 😆. That said, mods will come out eventually to change the looks.
