Awesome job man, if you ever have to do it again it best to leave your clutch plates soaking in fresh engine oil over the time of the rebuild. 👌🏼

Thank you for the video. Wish you had included some extra footage in disassembly. Would it be possible for you to summarize some of the parts you replaced.

some I have learned is not to use screw riders to split cases, the screwdriver is a harder metal and you can ruin the gasket surface since it is a softer material. I recommend using a large plastic wedge that has a handle, it works really well

Hey great work and attention to detail! Question, with the higher compression piston did you notice a significant power difference? Also what size jetting on the carb did you do for it? Thanks in advance!

Love the videos mate! I have a 1999 Xt225, bike won't rev and dies completely when accelerating hard (more than half throttle) I've checked out the diaphragm accelerator diaphragm and cleaned both jets. Still having no luck. Any ideas?
@GregBarling2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Man that sucks, only things I can think of is dirty air filter or your fuel filter is blocked up. I’m guessing you have already would have checked that. Also another thing to check if your valves are adjusted correctly

hey nice video you must be pretty knoledgable with the engine now, very cool. would you jump it on your bicycle track? you think it would make it or just bottom out and fall apart? cheers
@GregBarling2 жыл бұрын
Yeah mate it’s good to see how it all works. I recon my bike jumps would be too steep to ride on this bike and it would bottom out.
