During the fight of the clock, unpleasant sounds appeared: a creak, a rattle. There was a sound, as if something was jumping off something.
No mechanical damage was found.
He assumed that the oil in the battle spring had become very thick, and lubricated this spring very liberally with watch oil. Extraneous sounds are gone.
Managed to solve the problem without disassembly.
And a year ago, the watch started to stop, although I oiled it about once every three years.
I read in a book on watch repair that you need to lubricate the entire surface of the coils of the spring.
It is difficult to do this without removing the spring, since the coils of the spring always fit snugly against each other. Therefore, I did so. I took watch oil and generously lubricated all accessible places of the spring.
Oil even leaked out of the mechanism.
Then he carefully dismantled the running wheel so that the spring began to unwind quickly, and at that moment he still applied oil to the coils of the spring.
Put the wheel in place. Collected hours. Now the clock has been running flawlessly for a year.
This is how, with the help of only abundant lubrication, I was able to easily, without disassembling, eliminate two defects: the stop of the clock and extraneous sounds when the clock strikes.
It turned out that it is really possible to lubricate the spring without completely disassembling the mechanism.
