The snowstorms are back!! In todays video we redo parts of our cabin on a very STORMY day. I have gotten some new things shipped from the mainland in order to completely redo my office as well as update some other areas in the cabin. I hope you enjoy this video! Just putting together IKEA furniture has to be a true test of a relationship. And that all the pieces and bolts were all in the box is amazing. Kristofer is incredibly patient and so capable. Just love him to bits. The office looks bright and it is so inspirational to look out the windows to that view.

I don’t think it’s that hard! I make mine, as do my daughters, they’ve been helping since they were young and just make their own now. It’s pretty logical if you lay it out first in an orderly manner.

I worked for IKEA for a short bit and have to admit trying to say the names of the products was not the easiest thing to come off my lips, lol, but I loved putting in the effort to learn. One thing I did learn is, even though IKEA is one of the most cost effective and accessible furniture companies in the world, their stuff is also built to take a beating. I love their stuff. I furnished an entire apartment in IKEA furniture, and I still have some of the pieces to this day 6 years later. One day I’m going to learn Swedish just so I can pronounce those words, lol. Keep up the videos, I love watching your life in that frozen world of Svalbard, you’ve made me really enjoy the dark and winter like I never thought possible, so thank you very much for that.

"If it feels good I do good things". That's a great quote My desk is a 1940s/1950s drop leaf bureau which I purchased in January 2012. It was great at first but for some reason I don't think it's working for me now. But I don't want to get rid of it because I love it so I'm trying to work around the situation/problem I have. I bought 2 folding 't.v. tables' that I put either side for additional working area and it's working out. I live in a small apartment so have to be very careful of what I bring in, which is a joke because I do sewing and arts and crafts and I'm over run with supplies. I blame my ADHD and lack of discipline. Your office/gym looks light, bright and airier. A job well done overseen by Quality Controller Grim.
