The Vrods are great bikes. I've had 3 Night rod specials and I miss them 😎

Agreed! They are special!

Oh yeah...will you be doing a riding gear preference video? Especially with this cooler weather....
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
I probably won’t. May do a KZbin short on it. The gear videos kill my channel numbers because it confuses the algorithm. Tbh, I don’t change my gear. I wear the same stuff 😂 Saint jeans, base layers, icon jacket and gloves. That’s it.

That V-Rod needs a lithium battery? Did you put on the battery tender SAE connection? I've used that to jump batteries that are hard to get to. You may need to up the fuse on the tender if you want to jump the battery vs just trickle charging. Plus, with that SAE connector, you can power / charge a lot of different things while riding.
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
I haven't increased the fuse but the tender connector is there. May need to if it happens again. I'll probably have the battery checked in a few days.

Sometimes it takes a special combination of doing the Macarena then a palm reading then running around the bike counterclockwise dressed like one of the village people all the while chanting ROLL TIDE😅
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
If you chanted Roll Tide, it still would be sitting there handing you a L. 😂

I highly recommend you buy a battery tender for each bike. You don't have to spend a lot on them, and they're going to save you a lot of frustration when getting your bikes running after storing them for any amount of time.
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
I agree. They were at a family member’s home and I didn’t have access to an outlet. I pulled the battery’s and have them on charge separately now. When it’s time to go get the 109, I’ll take it back over.
@fenrizwulf66822 жыл бұрын
@Brandon Bicasso I thought that might have been the case, but wanted to make the suggestion anyway, because getting at the battery is no fun on either bike.

Hey Brandon, which bike lift is that that you have? would you recommend it?
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
I use the Pittsburgh one from Harbor Freight. Hasn’t failed yet for the 109, Vrod or all 3 Chiefs. The hydraulic lift holding the Chief motor is also from Harbor Freight.

Brandon, I don't like or trust any of the battery tenders from HF or the Battery Tender brand. New batteries can be a crap shoot too. Thank God you have kept your Suzuki. I worked with 2 old motorcycle mechanics for about 2 years. One was trained in the Harley world and had the certificate. The other could just fix damn near anything. When he wanted to. The HD certified guy has passed on, the other guy retired. I am on my own but I bought a lift and the tire machines. Useing the lift to install a new stator and charging system on a 1971 CB350 that is built to the hilt. Big cam, big bore pistons, racing ignition from Bore Tech. 32mm Mikuni carbs, you get the idea. If you make your way near me I will help you out in any way I can. At least get tires on and balanced. My specialty is aircraft. If I can make them do that, your bike should be no problem. I especially like to fix crashed aircraft. Putting it back right is a rewarding experience. Once they fly again! I don't want an Indian or HD of any flavor. Too much fluff and not enough bike. You had the coolest bike in your Scout. My wife can no longer ride. I have to exersize all 5 running bikes. And a Ridgeline and Chrysler Crossfire. Poverty sucks under obiden. They both hated the VRod. I like the engine.
