Some important things to note: - Both water ice and oxite contain a little bit of nitrogen, so you have now contaminated your portable O2 tank with N2. Mind you, this isn't something to fret over as you can breathe N2, however you cannot consume it. And since you've now loaded that mixture into your suit's O2 canister you'll need to replace one of your suit's CO2 filters with a nitrogen filter to prevent your suit from filling up with N2. Otherwise once you close your helmet and breathe the oxygen, you'll be slowly replacing your suit's target pressure with nitrogen, because it has no where to go, which will cause you to blackout and suffocate. - The ice crusher heats ice to 15°C by default. This setting can be changed with logic, but it is important to take into consideration as this heating process does cause the ice crusher to consume a fair bit of power. Also you do have some uninsulated pipes exposed to the vacuum, so you will have have a bit of radiated heat loss. A couple pick your preference tips: - You can open/vent your waste canister without removing it from your suit. Hold Alt + left click the canister and it will open a valve window which will allow you to open and close the valve. It should prove to be a little easier than trying to click the valve on the canister while it's rolling about on the floor. - Likewise, you can split ores/ices using the same technique to open the split window, thereby allow you to keep the stack in your belt while splitting what you need to an open hand. Clicking on your waste tank while in your suit will allow you to dump the tank. No need to drop it on the ground.

True. Also the waste tank is 02 and C02, which can be recycled.

I should say C02, and 02, now N2 is in the mix.

I've not played this game yet but wouldn't it have made sense to have planned for the necessities of life before going going industrial? Power, air, water and food.

Quite probably. But you have some containers, and have to focus on producing your own stuff, and resources are ticking out. Awesome game, highly recommend it
