New to the channel, seen this in my recommendations. Interesting series, as someone who prefers older yugioh I'm interested in seeing more.

Also like these videos. Here's my ideas for these boss Monsters' effects: >Infernal Flame Emperor: NOMI, banish 3 FIRES from GY to Special Summon, if your Fire Monster destroyes your opponent's Monster by battle, burn the opponent for 1000. If this card is destroyed burn both players for 1000. >Daedalus: If this card is Tribute Summoned, while you control "Umi" you can pop 2 cards your opponent controls, also it's Attacks Pierce. >Neo-Daedalus: Fusion Monster (requires Deadalus + 1 Water Monster) While you control "Umi" it can't be destroyed by cards or effects. If "Umi" leaves the field, you can destroy all other Monsters on the field and all your opponent's Spells & Traps. Sidenote: I always thought it was a missed opportunity to not have more a Field Spell like Umi for the other Attributes. There are like 10 different Umi Field Spells and a bunch of Water Monsters with effects around Umi. We could have something similar for Earth, Wind and Fire. A new field spell every few years treated as the OG and some cards occassionally printed which reference said OG field spell.

Honestly i like that idea of more generic monsters that would work off Gaia power and Molten Destruction. that does give me some ideas for Lavalvals in the future

Neo-Daedalus was pretty good IMO. A big advantage it has is that unlike CED it guarantees your opponent only gets 2 topdecks to find an answer, while with CED either the burn has to win the game or you're probably better off not using its effect unless you were in a horrible position. CED is obviously still superior since it's way more splashable, way easier to play and takes way fewer resources and that burn can get absolutely massive, but Neo-Daedalus was a pretty easy victory as well. Only 1 regular Daedalus in the deck means that Neo-Daedalus will practically never see play though in the structure deck as is, considering the microscopic odds to draw both of them.

I would like daedalus to search on summon the neo-daedalus, and the destruction effect could be conditional on if you have umi. On a sidenote, I played a ''progression'' format with some friends a year ago and I ran daedalus in a mystic tomato/ witch of the black forest engine because it was easier to search that way than in a tematic water deck

Yeah unfortunatley playing the theme is often worst then just splashing a bunch of good cards even for boss monsters youd think have the theme. Ive done some weird stuff in Prog also due to limited card pool its funny when it works but was mostly luck
