Jet dragon is technically 10 dollars in the TCG but you're not guaranteed it, same thing with dark dragoon it's like 20 bucks but again no guarantees on the extra card pack so it wouldn't even bring down the price

in Game 1 at 8:10 , BEWD actually could be banished. Azure eyes only protects the dragons that were 'currently' on field at the time of effect resolution which happens upon Azure eyes' summon. BEWD was then summoned by Azure afterwards which means BEWD is targetable.

It's funny how the Dark Magician deck felt overpowered by Blue Eyes for 2 of the 3 duels, but in the end the Blue Eyes bricked and Paul had the good ol' destiny draw lol

Magical Dimension and Dark Magic Circle carried hardcore. That's always been the classic Yugi vs Kaiba struggle. Kaiba/BEWD is all about raw power and strength while Yugi/DM has "weaker" cards but much more tricky and versatile strategies. I've always loved Magical Dimension and wish it saw more play. It's such a crazy card and I think the game is in a bad state when something that strong is seen as a bad or mediocre card.

This was actually pretty fun. This is the pace that I feel is great for dueling but not overbearing and being comboed for 15 to 20 minutes.

I agree but Its personal preference and based off the person though. For me I play casual, I play competitive and meta as well but I don't run ash blossom. Anyone saying "You need this! 3 copies is a must" I run zero or 1 following my own path because as a used to be a casual player, I have the mind set of one but in a competitive and meta player lvl stand point. Trust me, if you learn the higher ups of the game, you become a very, Very VERY powerful player against meta players because how predictable they are running the same decks.

These decks definitely seem like a great product for beginners/ nostalgia seekers and those looking for reprints for a lot of those cards. The only thing I would say that could help would’ve actually been to put BEWD alternative in the deck. Not sure if it’s in the power-up list, but for as long as I played blue eyes it’s always been a necessary card

I really like this video, I previously looked the all-in-one video on all duels with first Starter Decks and I came accross this video. I like these decks but I think in TCG the content of the booster pack should be included in the predefined set of cards of the set as all our Structure Deck. I prefer additionnal pack as rarity improvement, like the Charmer Structure Deck which contains some of the charmers in different artworks and it was fine. Thanks for this video and happy holidays.

@@Neceroe I imagine it's because Blue-Eyes has more competitive viability. So Konami sees it as a way to sell products more easily than Dark Magician, who tends to stagnate in Tier 2. Don't get me wrong, Blue-Eyes isn't Tier-1, but it has seen a competitive scene that Dark Magician has not. And being Blue-Eyes, means it meshes better with the insane generic Dragon support that constantly finds itself in the Tier-1 category. Honestly, I personally think the decks are both lacking reprints, and Blue-Eyes did get shafted harder. But, it's Konami. They're greedy.

They should release it in NA for multiple reasons Inexpensive Magicians' Souls Bringing back OG card arts is always a good move. Most YGO players by now are old enough that we don't need to fear pictures of grenades, knives, or cleavage. Mixed feelings on these. Several months ago we heard Dark Magician and Blue Eyes were going to be getting new decks soon and I was kinda excited for new support cards to be found in the decks to help these Legacy Builds but I now think these were the products they were talking about. We’ll likely get them here and it’s neat they have newer cards like Magicians Souls and Soul Servant but I was hoping the decks would get a few new support cards like previous decks had gotten such as the God Card Decks. Dark Magician in particular I wish had a new Spellcaster Link monster for Magician’s Rod instead of Artemis as she’s mostly a blank text box in most DM builds. Having a different Dragon Link off of DM instead of Imduk which also is a blank text box in most builds. We also need support that makes these 2 Legacy builds more consistent. As it stands currently these decks run out of plays quicker than most competitive decks so they burn themselves out quick only to get hit with like 1 negate and the whole combo comes crashing down and it’s game over. This is in major part because these decks are very prone to bricking so getting support that helps cover those couple of weaknesses would be great. Unfortunately, instead of new and needed support we got more reprints again.

Not only are they months ahead of us, but they also have a completely different ban list and standards of their meta game in the competitive scene. So things that are wildly popular over there don't have the same reaction here, and vice versa.
