I love this clip. It is my favourite Blue Man clip and i have played it loads of times. I just love the energy and the drumming done by the cool Blue Men. Awesome. The way they build up the energy of teh song is spot on.

I wonder what went through these guys' heads when they decided to recreate one of the great classics of music. It was perhaps the first major public success of an electronic song. Without taking anything away from this composition by Giorgio Moroder, this song went down in history because of Donna Summer's absurd interpretation. Remaking this masterpiece was a challenge that only the completely crazy or the completely talented attempt. More than anything. How could they find someone who could not embarrass themselves trying to do what Donna Summer had already perfected? Venus Hum and Annette Strean were a sensational choice. She didn't try to imitate Donna. She brought humor and energy to the interpretation, preparing our ears for the crazy instrumental sections between the singing parts. Annette was wonderful on the choruses. Of course, it didn't surpass Donna Summer's fantastic interpretation (it would be ridiculous to even try), but it didn't disappoint. And getting involved in a project with this level of risk and not getting horribly burned is already impressive.
