I think those narrow (black) straws which have better suction. Where did you get them?
@bradcorrea99633 жыл бұрын
Honestly would have never thought of that. Thanks for sharing appreciate it.

Just saw this. Could you tell me about the black tube/straw you used? It looked like it was sold as a single piece which would add a bit of cost. Was there a reason you used it instead of regular straws?
@fixitsamo4 жыл бұрын
No reason i just wanted it to match the colors make it look like a real attachment to my vacuum

@@fixitsamo where did you buy the straws?

Hi Fixitsamo, did you come up with this idea yourself? If so, you are so clever! If not, you are still talented as your video is super clear and very watchable, very helpful, I'm gonna try it, Thank you! :-) God bless you

Unfortunately it wasn’t my idea but i wanted to show that its doable with very low cost because the the 1 in the market is very expensive thank you trust me its worth it specially when you use in very tight places

I noticed that @fixitsamo refuses to say what the black tubes are called and where they can be bought. Many have asked.
@fixitsamo4 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response I’ve mentioned it many times I only used this type of tube just to make it match my vacuum tube and to make it look more professional in the video you can use any type of straws this is what i used in the video btw it made huge difference vacuuming tight places specially tool boxes and cars have a nice day www.amazon.ca/dp/B07BZD5T6R/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_i_VDPzFbGDPKC5W

@@fixitsamo I had a feeling they were heatshrink. They were definitely NOT "straws" as you have repeatedly said. Clearly they have completely different properties and flexibility vs. straws. It has nothing to do with color; people have been asking for the type of tubes they were. You never ONCE mentioned exactly what you used until now, and only cryptically. Weird.

The person who made the video apparently made this work for them, but as I thought about making one myself, I asked a question that I could not answer: What prevents the entire bundle of tubes from being sucked entirely into the pipe, or even all the way into to the vacuum cleaner itself? Watching the video a second time, I noticed only one end of the pipe is ever shown (unless I missed it). So I cannot tell how long the pipe is, or what it is attached to. But the part that is visible appears to be marginally longer than the bundle of plastic tubes, which would seem long enough that the entire bundle could disappear inside the pipe, unless something unseen inside the pipe prevents that from happening. All the vacuum cleaner pipes I've had before were smallest on the open end, and largest on the end closer to the vacuum cleaner (so anything that could fit into the open end of the pipe would fit even easier the farther it traveled inside the pipe). So when I picture building one of these tube assemblies, inserting it into the pipe, and turning on the vacuum cleaner, I would expect the whole bundle of tubes to immediately disappear into the pipe.

Hi Andrew i see your points the small tubes were 6” long you can make them longer or shorter if you want i made them this long so i can reach tiny small tight area like the test tube i showed at the beginning of the video If you noticed i rolled electrical tape around the bundle to let it fit tighter in the vacuum tube tight enough to be able to adjust the length need to clean any surface anyway the bundle will never get sucked all the way in specially because there’s not enough suction power because there’s a lot of small holes in the bundle you literally have to block all the bundle wholes witch is impossible unless you didn’t cut the tubes in a special angle as i showed in the video you can always add more electrical tape to make it fit tighter Trust this attachment is very efficient in tight small places let me know if you have more questions have a nice day
