Cool car, But it cannot be a '56. Wide rear springs and telescopic shocks were introduced in 1953, and in 1955 shocks were moved from rear of diff to front of diff. All 3 configurations featured a different floor pan pressings. This car is either '53, or '54. My call would be 1954, based on the pail blue color, which reminds me of Mosman Blue, 253-17340, one year only. Also rear shock absorber, lower mounts have been replaced with post '55 items. The angle of the mounting pin is wrong, and quickly chews out the bushes. They should be swamped left to right, and shocks replaced with 50mm to 75mm longer units. That paint looks way too good to be a barn find. Original 'Duco' paint was of poor quality, and could ware off, if washed too often or too vigorously.
