Nice one. I've been using mine pretty much daily for a year now, and it's nice and broken in now. No unusual wear or tear, even though it does get chucked around. Love this backpack.

I initially got this for my daughter who's attending college ... She realized right away it was much too small for her school use... Immediately ordered the 28model and was perfect....I needed up keeping this one for my own use and love it

Interesting. I used an 18 liter messenger bag in college, and never had any issue. I just carried a laptop, food and a warm layer, though. I’m Not sure what students are required to bring to class these days.

I have been searching for a non-tacticool or military looking pack. My GR1 from Go Ruck is now dedicated to my job as a working back to hold work related material, and as for looking tactical or being tactical at work is very spot on for the line of work I am in, but I am looking for that functionality of having "a place for everything and everything in it's place" and this review has sold me on the Raven. Thank you for taking the time to make this review!
@JBOutside111 ай бұрын
You bet! I hope it works for you. Still has the best features and feel at this price point IMHO

I have the Raven 28. Although they have increased their price a bit in the last year, it is still easily the best value for your money backpack I have seen.

I had this bag a few years ago before they made the backs ventilated, so it was all waxed canvas. It was entirely too hot for me to use regularly, so I gave it to a friend. Now that they have added a ventilated back panel to it, I reordered it last night. I loved the other bag I had, but it was just too hot. I also treat my G1000 Fjallraven bags with wax before using them so that they have some water and dirt protection. Thanks for the review!

I really appreciate this review. It was one of the big reasons I decided to purchase this bag about five months ago. I absolutely love the bag - especially the beefy organization options. I've continued to try other bags, but always gravitate back to this one. I'm very glad I gave this bag a shot. I'm a 36-year-old mom of two kids. 5'2. I use this for an everyday bag with my kids, and also as a work bag (I'm a paraprofessional at an elementary school).

Love the Raven. I’ve both the 20L and 28L, even a 20L in the previous edition. The only thing I would improve in the Raven 20 is for the laptop sleeve to be lifted higher off the bottom of the bag. However, the upside of the lack of elevation is that when I’ve my laptop in the bag, it can stand on its own (depending on how I’ve packed). Oh, and I wish they would do a 24L!

Nice review JB! I'm a huge Fjallraven fan personally. Being at 8700ft in the Colorado mountains, I have used one pair of Keb G1000 pants for 3 years daily and they are still doing well. Some of their hiking packs are very good, such as the Bergtagen, Lappland Hike, Keb series, Abisko Hike and Kaipak🌲

I'm guessing the bottle pockets lack pretention since there's no elastic. Is there any grippy material on the inside or would a bottle slide out if the pack was laying down? Thanks for the review! That's definitely a cool little bag. 👍

True. There’s not a way to hold in a bottle.

What i am doubt wether i like it or not is: (i think) it is a bit short and bulky. (Compared to GR1 21L). WDYT JB?
@JBOutside1 Жыл бұрын
It definitely is a shorter pack. It’s almost like a mini-GR2. It’s shape is also different compared to GR1s. For the price it’s worth a shot though.

Looks more useful & more affordable than a CHZ22
@JBOutside1 Жыл бұрын
But durable like CHZ?? 🤔 probably not
@DaemonViews8 ай бұрын
But does durable mean that it will outlive you or has to outlive generations? My fjall g1000 Barents pro pants has been my hiking pants for years. Also used it during 3 renovations. And after breaking out very sharp tiles, I have some small holes in the first layer at my knees. It will be fine.

When placing the backpack on a table or any surface, it often tips over and falls to the ground due to the unevenly designed bottom. It is not recommended to buy.
