Perfect video for someone like me that faces tons of indecision between two very similar options. Looking at them side by side in store can only help so much compared to seeing them compared in action.

I love your reviews so much. As someone who's 5'6" the comparisons on someone of the same height is SO useful!!

Nice comparison. I have the Raven 28, and it is definitely a favorite in my collection. Great value for its cost…hard to beat.

The Raven 28 is such a sturdy backpack. Agreed, it's a great value!

I liked your review, but could you also add the sizes in centimeters? That would be very helpful. Thank you.

Hi BPs! Thank you for this review comparison. I just want to ask if these backpacks have the G-1000 stitching on them? TY! :)

Hey I love your videos, but I would like some advice since I really got lost. I like the 20, I think I can use it very well, but the lack of good back support (I mean good, doesnt have to be Deuter Trail good) and sternum straps is almost a deal breaker. I know that for a 20 liter its not really a must, but I like having the option. can you please recommend something like it, doesnt mind being it 20 or little bit larger, that is also stylish and good looking, good organization options, very premium materials - outside and inside, like the padded quick access pocket, I mean, couldn't they just add that in the first place?! :') I almost got the Skule but after your review I understood I like the features of the Raven, being more premium, but I miss the little back advantage and the sternum straps...Thank you again for making these very informative and to-the-point videos.

The Skule 20 seams to have everything you need minus the more premium G-1000 HeavyDuty fabric that the Raven has. Another good pack to look into is the Timbuk2 Division. It's 18L, has a sternum strap and a really nice back panel and shoulder straps. Hope this helps!

@@Backpackies I know, this was my buy until I saw your review and I understood I want better materials overall. I emailed Fjallraven to ask them to consider a premium Skule :) I will check the Divison, Thank you!!

I'm considering getting one, however was stuck between the raven 28 and 20. I'm currently entering college and will be using a lot of notebooks. but I'm also relatively skinny and 5'8", and was wondering if the 28 would dwarf me? Thank you

The Raven 28 most likely won't look too big at your height. You should be fine!

hey, great video. I have a 16,1 inches laptop, do you think it would fit in the 28L Raven? Thanks
@Backpackies Жыл бұрын
Hello! A 16.1" laptop might be a bit too big for the laptop sleeve. We don't have a 16" laptop to test with but our 15.6" laptop presses up against the zipper and doesn't feel too safe in that pocket, so anything bigger than that will not fit.

Hey I have a 28L Raven for a couple of months now and use it to transport my 16 inch Lenovo Legion 5 pro everyday. My laptop is considered quite bulky, yet it's an easy fit, not even too snug.

The macbook showed in the video is a 14” or a 16”? A 16” would fit in the raven 20?
@Backpackies5 ай бұрын
It's a 13" Macbook shown in the video - unfortunately, the laptop sleeves are going to be too small for a 16" Macbook

How do you know if a bag is too tall for you?
@Backpackies6 ай бұрын
Easiest way is to measure the your back length from the bottom of your neck to your waist. Now you can compare that measurement to the backpack length. There are guides on how to fit a backpack online that will go into more detail!

Thanks for the quick response! @@Backpackies The reason I posted this comment is I just got the raven 28 but after just an hour of wearing found that it made my lower back a bit uncomfortable/tired, maybe because the edge of the foam backing is quite hard. Did you notice anything like this at all?
@htanh19093 ай бұрын
When placing the backpack on a table or any surface, it often tips over and falls to the ground due to the unevenly designed bottom. It is not recommended to buy.

isn’t the BACKpack suppose to be in your back though? 😂😂😂
