Bushcraft and Adventure is what we live for. Myself and Billy dog love nothing more than being outside testing our skills in any environment and we don't mind a little filming along the way on some of our trips. In this film we are once again out and about showcasing what we do and passing on skills and experience to the great KZbin audience and our friends who watch our films. #Bushcraft #Survival #Livelifeoutdoors

RickT Outdoor/Adventure Yes! And I’m also a fan of Fjallraven but I think I prefer your Fjallcrow better. 👍🏼 It kinda reminded me of home, our mountain farmers use those kind of stuff a lot and I used them whenever I go catch some frogs. It brought me back to those times I used to bring our farmers lunch at the farm. Simple but happy days! Cheers, Mari

@@FunsizedEarthling ahhh that's fantastic Mari, that's made my day knowing I've triggered some lovely memories 🙂. I like practicing skills using the natural environment and putting what I make to use. I'll use it for foraging but probably not for carrying my kit in the mountains 😉. Really like your films and I'm looking forward to getting up in the mountains again myself real soon 🙂

Great job as always Rick :) Cracking video mate..... You did a nice job of videoing the king fisher :) Camps looking good. Looks like Billy has settled into the place lol. The last time I made a fig 4 trap, it put me in hospital for two days! 16 stitches and a 5 hour operation. I learnt a good lesson that day mate. Love the pack.... you did a cracking job :) I got your email cheers mate. It will be in the post early next week. Have a great week mate, all the best, Mark :)

Hell fire Mark that's a nightmare. Must have made a mess of ya. Gotta be careful with them. Billy was under no illusions that he had to stay where he was lol. I don't blame ya for not making another since that happened. Aye I was in the right place at the right time for the Kingfisher and was filming some Cormorants roosting, about 30 of em when I looked down and the Kingfisher was on that branch. Cheers for the axe cover Mark you're a generous man and it will get used 🙂. Billy loves that shelter and goes straight in and makes himself a bed. Will be good in winter if it's not been destroyed by then 🙂. Cheers Mark, have a great weekend 🙂👍

Nice one Rick, I didn’t know it was illegal to trap, glad I dismantled a snare I found on public land last year (which I would have done anyway) but yeah I get you when you say about practicing for knife skills and just learning stuff. Great bag and interesting to learn about how to treat cordage. Cheers, Ant 👍

Back out at the weekend with Buzz. The RSPB job has been full on. Part of the Nest Protection Team for Hen Harriers and Peregrines. Season coming to an end so get back out and do some filming. We were out about 3 weeks ago and just thought sod it, practice some skills and just enjoy learning again as opposed to thinking about filming. I'm not as natural as you guys. Have a great week pal.

My day is complete! That is an awesome pack you made. Love the way you did the fire. Every time I hear the music you use, it reminds me when I lived on the coast. I've camped in West Virginia many times. You would love it. You need to do a Billy channel LOL. Looks like 500 subs are just a few days away! I like the figure four trap. Do you have the Professional Guides Manual? Great little book. It's a states thing, but I just might send you a copy. Tons of traps in that.

Hiya Mitchell 🙂 I don't have that book, is it good ? Yeah the subs are moving up slowly lol thanks to you. I think you got me a chunk a while back 😀 and they are slowly ticking over. 500 can't be far off 🙂. Haha a Billy channel would be cool, I reckon he would probably do pretty well. I've made quite a few different containers recently, willow baskets and allsorts but I liked making the pack. Not a patch on those ones that you make though Mitchel 😉. I'm going to use it for foraging I think. I reckon I'd love a lot of places over there. There really is some beautiful wild places over there 🙂. Have a fantastic weekend Mitchell and give Disney a stoke from me n Billy 🙂👍
