Had to do this review because I bought both not really sure what the difference was until I looked at them and saw them and then I looked online and noticed that no one had really made a review video about them so I did my best to make one I hope it helps

Nice video. I prefer the Kanken hip one, the darker one. because of the handle on the top. Sometimes I just want to carry a pouch around without fannying it, you know? I'd fanny it when travelling, but I'd kinda look like a tourist if I did it when EDCing in my hometown.

Kanken hip pack is 2L and the High Coast hip pack is 1.5L.

The kanken is cheaper here in some places. The high coast hip pack is also wayer resistant and the kanken not

Hi people, after 3 days of use, the breathable fabric of the back pocket in the hip coast has started unraveling. Have you experienced the same?

I didn't experienced this issue. Just checked and it's totally fine on mine. Maybe some fabric on a jacket, or a shirt buttons, something like jack ?
