Hello! I've had this Fjallraven Kanken backpack for 10 years and it has gotten a lot of use. I still use it regularly. The Fjallraven Kanken Laptop 13" backpack has been my go to backpack for school, travel, hiking, and general adventures. Here is my honest review on my backpack.

I got a Kanken, just the regular one, not the laptop one & it has much more room in it than you would think,,,,and to see that the condition of the back-pack in 10 years is pretty amazing! I've only had it for a couple of months, I'm glad to see that it will last a really long time. I do think that I got my moneys worth.

i was searching for a used kankens online because i CBA to get the brand new one and came across the old ones that has the same color and same tag as yours 6:33 i originally thought it's fake because kanken tags are normally long with tiny swedish flag next to it, thanks for clearing it up

was the weight of the backpack different those days? I’ve just measured mine which is about 4 years old and it’s different (+55g) from what it should be, little confusing, because maybe I bought something wrong

Is it the same height and width of the classic or is it a little bit smaller? On the website it says laptop 13 version should be a few cms smaller, but I can't tell from pictures... Can someone tell me please?

Hi, lots of review say that Kanken color fade pretty quickly but yours doesn't seem so bad for 10 years use. Is it actually faded and if not, what did you do to keep the color well? Thanks!

It’s faded a little bit. Compared to a brand new black one mine is definitely faded but still looks black. Also depends on the lighting too.

I also have a macbook pro 2020 of 13', so if i get this one, is there room available to use a laptop case?

Depends on how thick your case is. I used to put my MacBook Pro 2009 in here and that laptop is thicker than the MacBook Pro 2020 (which I currently use). I think if you're using a thin hard case it should fit.

I'm not sure, but my MacBook Pro is 13in and I had a 2009 one that would fit inside

I say it is worth it if you plan to carry a laptop or want the option to carry a laptop. There is the regular kanken that is a little cheaper and I think could work for middle school

Fits 13", I think 14" would be too big. Fjallraven has a 15" laptop backpack on their website

Probably depends on how big a binder? I usually used my laptop for class, but I would imagine a binder would fit
