I think they fixed the side pockets on the new 17 inch. Mine can fit 2 normal Nalgene wide 1L. One in each side :)

Great video, very informative. Are the additional strap pads needed for extra comfort ? For walking all day with bag fully loaded ? Or standard strap padding will be fine?

Well, I think they add a bit of comfort, but to be honest, after a few months of use, they got super flat, and I don’t really see the difference between using them or not

Nice review. Do you know if the bottom of the backpacj has padding? e.g. if I put some electronic items in the main compartment and i drop the bag - if it will feel the full impact of the fall? :D

I bought this in 15 inch to work. I like how funktional it is, plus it is common backpack here so it does not attract any attention. Like say a modern military molle tactical backpack maybe does. And nevermind the fading. I wish my backpack looked like that. It is not fading, it is patina and makes the backpack look like something that is being used. Not a fashion accessory.

Hi! I just tried with a wood board…about 28 by 40 and it fits good, a bit snug for a large laptop but…if you have a MacBook I would say goes well, for a wider one, may be a tight fit

My Razer Blade 18 is : 15.7'' x 10.8'' x 0.86'' Which is about 399mm x 275 mm x 235mm It’s a tight fit and just squeezes in. Without a protector case. So your ThinkPad would have difficulty.

100%! I recently was on a trip in southern Spain and it was very warm. The padded shoulder strap helped so much with the carrying around and avoiding pressure through the heat and sweat 😅 (sorry for the image)
