If you are looking for a quick map tour for arks newest map Fjordur, then look no further! This will quickly show you the new map for the biomes, base locations, and other awesome features.
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

Runes and runestones are 2 different things. The runestones you spawned in are received when killing alphas, which are needed to summon the mini-bosses (30 each). There’s actually 7 boss fights on the map now. 3 mini bosses, the 3 OG island bosses and then the main boss. The runes (the red glowy orbs that give experience boosts now) are basically like the maps explorer notes. But they are tied into unlocking mnolnir. Traveling between the realms you used to need stones but they got rid of that requirement. You’ll notice when you accessed the terminal it didn’t say how many runes you had or needed to travel.

This map is amazing, they did an amazing job, wut im also liking bout there new maps is they r making it so water is in the middle of the map too, so if ur starting out u can go around the map on a raft to get to places to get recourses until u get a flyer

You can also teleport by holding r on pc it will bring up a radial dial with all the different realms and different spawn locations so your not just having to go to the bifrost. Thought I would mention that for anyone on pc that hasn't figured that out yet 😉

The red Runestones work like explorer notes one other maps. When you beat the main boss of Fjordur (Fenrir-something) you'll get skin to turn a weapon (idk if it's a sword or what) into Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer. However, in order to be 'Worthy' of it you have to ascend (beat the main boss) on every Main map (Island, Aberration, Extinction, etc), collect all the explorer notes and all 200 Runestones.

If you hold down "H" it will show you that it's the count of the 200 runes you've discovered

Do you have light blur activated ? (Never put it in aberration map or the element water will make you blind)

What's up bud. I only play single player on PC on laptop. I was loading into gen part 2. I keep getting a crash error it won't allow to get on the map. My 140 plus character seems to be trapped. I'm thinking I have to create a whole second player SMH. I wanted to take my 140 plus character to Fjorder or how ever you spell it. Any help or tips on my current dilemma? Thanks. I have already did verify the game integrity on steam and restarted multiple times.
