This is excellent. Lots of good advice. Many moons ago, when I bought my first pole, I bought Tom's book "My Way with the Pole" and learned a great deal from it. Canals here in the sarf are about half the depth of the larger northern canals on average, but they tow a lot in both directions - they're often stream fed and see a plenty of boat traffic, meaning the locks are constantly opening. I'm going to order some of your micros and try a slightly scaled down version of the methods demonstrated in the video. Thanks again.

Good info cheers, what happens if you hit in to good fish to start, then feed and then smaller pain in the butt fish move in,? this seem/s to happen quite a lot for me,??

When this happens, often resting a line can be key. When the small fish move in, try potting in some bait, then fishing somewhere else for ten minutes or so. Often this will help the bigger fish regain confidence and move back over your bait.
