This song speaks to me so much. I love the way the song starts upbeat. With that slow intermittent guitar strum. It slowly decends into a self hating melancholy melody. Its so primal yet so beautiful and solemn. I consume it everytime I hear it. I just want to hide away from the world and never be seen again.

+deanna balderrama its how i feel. I get chills everytime i hear her voice. . a true artist. when a singer makes you feel something from their music its amazing. its kind of selfish.. but i really dont want her to become hugely popular and "mainstream" haha.. i fdlt the same about TheWeeknd in 2011. Abel hasnt changed too far and i know an artist evolves and grows.. but you just dont want to lose the feeling they give you while they are raw and true, before they become pop. I wish her all the best though, ofcourse.

She has something. it's there, and it's just isn't anywhere else. It makes you want to know, talk with her, understand what could grant her this very special stream of inspiration that the world lacks and that she has. At the same time, you just don't want to get to know her, afraid that meeting her would destroy what she gives you to witness. A perfect being, there for you to decrypt its lyrics and the way she sings. It's fine like it is. Both the spectator and the artist remain anonymous and all that remains is contemplation.

So creatively different. It's not mainstream. You have to be prepared to connect with this song on an unusual level. But that's FKA twigs in essence...each song challengers our preconception of what music and songs are.

Jelly Kid It's the sacred geometry of dance. If you do a google image search for that term you can see the patterns. If you try it again start by trying to create a figure 8 with your hips then release that into bigger more dynamic movement and see where it takes you. Don't judge yourself just allow your body to flow and express itself. It's liberating revealing and empowering can be done to ANY music :)

***** Her dancing in this specific video unlocked my dancing shoes. She encouraged me to not judge myself and allow the energy within to express itself in movement. Now at concerts I receive compliments and draw a lot of attention from the opposite sex. It took me 25 years, and i'll never stop dancing now.

I'm really surprised to see there is such an ardent debate about her appearance (and at the same time, I'm totally not *sigh* it's always the same old story, huh?). Because personally, I think she has the kind of beauty you won't find at every street corner. She's beautiful in her own way. And as they say: "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", except that it's deeper than that, isn't it? If only people would stop looking with the beauty expectations that society build into their lil brains, telling that european features are the only ones that make someone appealing. So... a little advice of mine: why don't y'all pull your heads out of your asses, whip off the shit off you eyes and try to take a REAL look at the world. Or, idk, chill and appreciate the music. She's an artist, if you're only here to see and criticise how she looks go on google image or idk go take a look in the mirror and reflect on life. It's your loss after all (she's crazy talented, very unique, must be bigoted not to admit it... oh wait). And If your only plea is the way she looks (or another excuse to hide that you're a jealous, racist piece of shit), you were not worth arguing with anyway.
