@@tscharminkel4146 "Art should disturb the normal, and comfort the disturbed." Since when is she pretentious? Name me one artist who comes near her art. Alot of artists I know and love have totally different aesthetics. I love her art, it is the mix from absolute beauty mixed with religious influences of the baroque. It makes me feel so welcome and not weird or like the outcast I am.
@tscharminkel41464 жыл бұрын
@@c2e.7877 I'm glad for you, but to me a quote like that feels like a lie. Finding comfort in this kind of music feels like an escape from reality. I think when art used to be about harmony instead of disturbance, earth was a nicer place to live in too. There was no need for the escape to the fake, because we could still dream of a better truth. First listen: watching the choreography and visuals Second time: listening to the lyrics.When the honeymoon period is over and her lover has her heart and body will he still give her the same level of devotion and effort he put into pursuing her in the first place. Talk is cheap actions speak louder than words. She needs someone who wants her in the good and bad times. Her “holy terrain” the very deep part of her her soul, her heart the very essence of her is sacred and she needs someone who respects it and is willing to be part of it and values her. She’s learnt from the past she’s not doing that again. Third time: analysing the imagery. Just my view. It all represents the different sides of her first he lover needs to embrace. The smoking dancing she is a girl who who can hang, flirt and be chill be a badass. Her red and blue eyes- she can be hot and cold. Spiritual with the headdress it gives her a saintly look. She’s Complex, changeable especially as an artist. She has many deep thought and intellectual she’s more than the fame and physical. Riding the bull- symbol of masculinity, sexuality she’s sexually knowledgable and radiant and comfortable in her skin and as herself she will not apologise for that. The dance break well she is a dancer but also it makes it more inclusive she isn’t just singing for herself but as a general experience women this is what every woman wants. Her crawling on the floor. It looks almost animalistic there are parts of her that he will never understand. Mysterious, dangerous, highly sensitive if crossed etc.

Once my fruits are for taking and you flow through my veins? Do you still think I'm beautiful, when my tears fall like rain? My love is so bountiful for a man who is true to me [Chorus: FKA twigs & Future] For a man who can follow his heart Not get bound by his boys and his chains For a man who can follow his heart And stand up in my holy terrain (I try, I try, I try, I try for you) [Verse 2: FKA twigs] I'm blue when the Moon hits my skin right Hot pink when you open up my sweet thighs Pull you in, and your life can begin, 'cause it's early days [Pre-Chorus 2: FKA twigs] But will you still be there for me, now I'm yours to obtain? @@hierosgamosvibration2951 She's petitioning to a higher force. The city of Ur had a moon God named named Sin and to pay tribute they'd sacrifice they queen on her deathbed by dressing her and her loyal subjects in large amounts of gold. They'd also take poison so the said subjects can follow her to the afterlife. (Future's verse) "Throw loads of gold on you just to fall asleep, yeah" "I feed you poison, forever my lady (Oh baby)" "We gettin' high, we touch the sky until we deceased, yeah" FKA Twigs is expressing devotion and commitment and Future plays the role of the higher being showing her the way to ascension.
