Go to smaller local shows, you could be surprised. Just cause someone isnt famous, doesn't mean they're not one of the best musicians. Ive gotten absolutely blown away by some bands id never heard of. Of course, about one in ten times I'll come across something I can't really vibe with.

AGREED! It's no wonder the sax has disappeared as a mainstay in popular music. The sax being that, it's probably FKJ's signature instrument out of a library that he can play. Like you, I remember when the sax was in tons and tons of pop songs, and scores for movies and television. Kinda miss it sometimes when I watch an old movie or show and think, man those times had some great, positive energy behind them. LOL, so many title songs to 80's and 90's sitcoms xD

Each and every piece from FKJ speaks to me on a deep level. It tells me a tale, it may sound delirious but I always travel far and wide while listening to his songs. In this case there is this space astronaut traveling alone across the universe and finding one exciting thing after the other just to realize he is by himself in the end. Shouting to the stars and seeing their light reverberate back to him. What a peaceful state of mind.
