A lot of great creative options! You can even go the extra mile and apply a groove template to a measure to vary and humanize the drums. 🙂

Holy smokes! It is difficult to know when to stop the creative process in a production, if you are exposed to a beast like this!

I used to be a very efficient 'Reaper' user, and because of this it has been very difficult to adjust to FL Studio (which I'm fully committed to now. IMO, DAW developers should avoid publicising their political views). Anyway, I made a 9+ minute track with 'DJ-Shadow' type drums a while back, doing what you do in this video... manually. It did take a while. Never again... which was incidentally the name of the track. This will be one of my go-to videos when delving into Slicex, and general sample rearranging. The sky is indeed the limit! Thank you!

Absolute fantastic and seamless tutorial on how to be creative by yourself. You didn't just offer a step-to-step guide but rather showed ways on how to apply the learnings. Great! By the way: I really like the looped sounds you've used. May I ask you where you got them from or is there a possibility to offer the FLP? Keep the great work going :D

Again, great videos. But may I ask why you place sample clips in the playlist to create a beat rather than using the channel racks built-in sequencer?
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 3 жыл бұрын
Laziness...:-) Normally I would use a Sampler channel... I just put them into the playlist because it was faster to achieve in this moment... Positive side effect though: For a tutorial it´s easier to look at waveforms in the playlist than just a little pixel in a clip representing a note...
@Maxc_

Okay, this is easy. Step 1: Get some loops and chop them. Step 2: Open SliceX and chop your chopped loop. bounce to audio and then.. Step 3: Open SliceX and chop the loop you chopped from the chopped loop. The sky really is.. the limit. 😂

Hi, thanks for your great videos! I was wondering if does anyone know how to create my own scale/temperament in FL Studio? I want to be able to play any instrument in this scale, so I need to tune every note to a different pitch than equal temperament which is default for our music.

@@JimpzterPimpzter I don´t know what you mean by second instance... All I did after having had the Slicex already running as an instrument track I "patcherized" this instance by holding shift while replacing it with Patcher... This loads Patcher and puts the plugin you "replaced" into it with the same settings... I hope this answers your question...

I dont Think this is creativity.. taking a sample and looping it, slicing it here and there and eventually end up with a decent sounding random melody is not creativity at its best... Anyway. Your videos are so good.. i have watched them all in a go within few hour.... And you have no idea how much that patcher tutorial has helped me to make my beat sound so Big Epic and Thumping ❤️👍.. thanks
